Roger Williams Park Zoo is an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), American Humane certified, and is home to many endangered species. Their accreditation is assurance that visitors are supporting a facility dedicated to providing excellent care for animals, a great experience for guests, and a better future for all living things. This includes their participation in cooperative conservation and breeding programs to help ensure the future survival of many endangered species. Each time you visit the Roger Williams Park Zoo, make a contribution, purchase an item from them, or share your knowledge about wildlife and conservation, you help them take another step in achieving their mission.

Every 4th Thursday we’re partnering with Ocean State Food Truck Festivals to host a Food Truck Thursday in our parking lot! There will be a number of food trucks at each event, from savory to sweet, ready to serve up some culinary treats. Food, Games, Music, and of course Beer! 4:30-8pm. Free admission and family friendly. Our normal Thursday Trivia will start in the taproom at 6:45pm.

Better Lives Rhode Island is a non-profit agency whose mission is to offer stability, justice, and hope to those in need through advocacy and direct service. Better Lives Rhode Island has been serving the needs of the community since 1974. On a monthly basis, their agency currently provides food to over 2000 low-income Providence residents at their Food Pantry and feeds 500+ individuals/families at their Community Meal. Their Homeless Outreach and Day Center programs provide basic needs, holistic case management, and support services to 60+ unsheltered and housing insecure folks a month. Annually, Better Lives Rhode Island serves over 30,000 of our friends and neighbors.

Haus of Codec provides a safe housing space for youth ages 18 – 24 to call home and help them find their own, more permanent housing solutions, and workforce development opportunities. The shelter space hosts a food and clothing pantry, a self-service kitchen, a shared bathroom, access to essential services through partner providers, and a sense of community where there wasn’t one before.
